In Love There Is No Plan

 You came to me, I was in need, my way it seemed was lost
You came into my life and showed that love was worth the cost

You took my heart that seemed so cold and held it in your hand
A miracle of chance or fate, with love there is no plan

Of all the things in life I thought I wanted to behold.
I never thought I'd find true love, it never seemed foretold

You opened up the wonder of  life to be perceived
You opened chains that bound my heart and helped me to believe

That all things in this universe by fate or by design.
Have led me to this moment of  love throughout all time.

I see you in my dreams, I see you when I wake
I feel you in my arms and think your love is mine to take

I've always thought true love's a myth for poets to portray
But since I met you I now see that love is not a play

It's real and true and written well in many words and song
It's part of life to feel true love before this world we've gone

Each day that I'm away from you, you're in my heart and mind
Each day I see that pretty face so gentle and so kind

In all the world I found you,  my heart is in your hand
In all the world I finally see in love there is no plan.
