Boundless Love

 

In a world of love, no limits bound by simple dreams of lust.

Just true love of the heart and soul, and endless binding trust.

 

You came into my life and made my world go round and round.

You took my heart and held it tight, to you forever bound.

 

I've looked into your soul and found a part of me lives there.

You’ve looked into my soul and found a part of you we share.

 

A love we cannot understand, much deeper than we knew.

A love so strong no written song, portrays my love for you.

 

Each second I’m away from you, a gnawing pain resides.

I see your face, I see your smile, I see those pretty eyes.

 

Each morning when I wake, it seems I’ll see you next to me.

But then I wipe the sleep away and sigh at what I see.

 

An empty space there next to me, a cold and lonely place.

No joy without you lying there in silk and sometimes lace.

 

I reach for you before I know, the girl I love's not there.

No kiss, no warmth, no gentle words express the love we share.

 

I’ll go to bed tonight and wish that you’ll be by my side.

My love, my soul, my all I give, no thought of foolish pride.
